So today I was talking with my friend Aaron. We decided that in order for me to officially get engaged, I have to walk around the Houghton quad at least 3 times with Jeremy at some point. I told him we totally will. Then he suggested that we have to kiss in the bell tower. This was how the rest of the conversation went.

SaintSakuraSama (1:44:49 AM): =O I hope all my friends don’t decide to get married at hte same time though
SaintSakuraSama (1:44:54 AM): haha, we totally will whenever he comes

SaintSakuraSama (1:47:22 AM): And then I’d be like, “Well fine. I’m gonna go play Mario Kart Wii and order a pizza only big enough for myself.”

At this point, I then talked to Jeremy about it.

Oh, in other news. I’ve recently started reading/watching something called La Corda D’Oro which, if I’m not mistaken, began as a manga (that I think was created to have a game based off of it or the other way around?) and then was eventually turned into an anime. I love this show so much and anyone who’s into music (namely classical) and/or classic instruments like the violin, piano, cello, clarinet, flute, or trumpet, then I totally suggest you watch this show. It’s so beautifully drawn and everything is so well executed. Not only do the actual people that performed the pieces in the show play well, but the characters themselves actually move like they should to play each song.

For example, when someone is playing on their violin, the parts that would require vibrato show the character ACTUALLY moving their hand as they would if they were doing it for real. Same with the piano, the character’s body moves with the music and if they’re playing up high then the hands are up high or whatever. It’s just fantastic. You really get a feel for the music when you watch it.

I wanted to share a small clip of it with you. This is a scene where the main character (Kahoko) and one of the rudest and most stand-offish guys ever are playing this beautiful rendition of Ave Maria. It’s honestly breathtaking.
